Genitourinary Medicine (GUM) Clinics:

If you are worried about an infection which may be sexually transmitted it may be appropriate for you to attend a GUM clinic.  These offer totally confidential information, counselling, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections including HIV.  You can book an appointment for yourself, you do not need to ask your GP.  You do need to give your name and address.

Emergency Contraception:

Emergency contraception is available:

  • at the GUM clinics (see details above)
  • from some pharmacists - enquire at the chemist's
  • East Surrey Hospital Brockham Ward 7 days a week 9am - 9pm
  • request an urgent appointment with a GP or Nurse at Whyteleafe Surgery.
