How to see a Doctor

diaryWe operate an appointment system with ten minute appointment slots. You are requested to phone the surgery after 3.00pm to make an appointment for the following morning or phone during the morning if you wish to see a doctor in the afternoon. Telephone calls are taken from 8.30am. A proportion of appointments can be booked up to one week in advance. Please ask the receptionist if you require this type of appointment.

Telephone consultations are available if you do not need to see a doctor in person. If you wish to see a specific practitioner, please ask the receptionist at the time of booking your appointment and we will try to accommodate your request.

Extended Hours Access

In line with Government policy and in response to requests from some patients in our recent practice survey, we will be offering routine appoinments with a GP one evening a week (usually Monday) from 6.30pm to 9.00pm.  These appointments are intended for patients who work traditional "office hours" and find it difficult to attend during the day.  The service provided in the evenings is limited to pre-book GP appointments - any emergency or urgent requirements to see a doctor will still be dealt with through the "out of hours" arrangements and you should continue to call Thamesdoc on 020 8390 9992 after 6.30pm.
